Daily Contextual Analysis & Plan | September 30, 2026
Higher-time-frame balance governed Wednesday’s auction. Price tested the northern edge overnight, failed to attract sustained demand above it, and resolved lower through the central composite structure into a neutral-extreme close.
Overnight buyers tested the upper distribution
ETH tested the 7771.50 10-day VPOC before rotating lower. RTH opened higher in range and coiled around 7754–7755, an established composite HVN that repeatedly acted as the central pivot of the distribution surrounding Wednesday’s open.
The initial break resolved higher. Buyers cleared the overnight high, retested 7771.50, and reached the northern LVN near 7779.50–7782.00. The auction could not attract continued demand there. Lower highs returned price to the 7754 pivot, where repeated failure to hold above the node shifted control back to sellers.
The lower distribution became active
The response at 7754 defined the session. Price eventually broke the 7748.00 initial-balance low, which had contained the auction for most of RTH. Once that support failed, neutral-extreme risk resolved decisively lower and initiative selling accelerated into the closing auction.
The late drive entered the next distribution below, traversed the 7712 composite HVN and printed a 7705.50 low. Price reached the upper edge of the 7700–7696 southern LVN, where the next acceptance test begins.
Upside: reclaiming the central composite structure
The first reclaim test is the 7712 composite HVN. Acceptance above it opens mean reversion toward the 7743.00 Monthly, Weekly and 20-day VPOC cluster and the pivotal 7754–7755 composite HVN.
Acceptance above 7755 brings the 7768.50 5-day VPOC, 7771.50 10-day VPOC and the 7779.50–7782.00 northern LVN edge back into focus.
Downside: acceptance through the southern LVN
The immediate response area is 7705.50–7696, encompassing the RTH low and southern LVN. Acceptance below that band would show that sellers are gaining acceptance outside the current distribution.
Continuation exposes the 7675.00 September 18 low, with resting stops below, followed by the well-auctioned 7658.00 composite HVN as the next higher-time-frame price check.
Auction condition
Daily balance is confirmed while weekly and monthly balance remain developing. The neutral-extreme finish shows initiative pressure at the lower edge, but the higher-time-frame auction remains rotational until sellers prove acceptance below the 7700–7696 southern LVN. Rejection there would favor mean reversion toward the high-volume nodes that launched the decline.
