An RTH gap above Friday’s range became an initiative open drive through the upper composite, leaving single prints beneath an auction still discovering higher prices.

An opening gap changed the auction

Sunday's overnight auction repriced ESZ6 above Friday's range. The regular session opened above Friday's 7729.25 high, leaving a gap between the prior RTH auction and Monday's opening range. The September 11 7736.75 nVPOC had been tested in overnight trade on Friday, but it remains open under our RTH-only convention: Monday's regular session opened above it rather than trading through it.

That distinction matters to the opening read. RTH did not begin by testing whether Friday's value would hold. It began in new territory above the 7755.25–7764.00 upper confluence discussed in the weekly review. An initiative open drive then extended beyond the northern low-volume boundary near 7775.00. Subsequent counter-rotations remained shallow and did not return the auction to Friday's range.

Initiative trade kept the auction in price discovery

The regular-session TPO is elongated, with multiple single-print zones beneath the upper distribution. In AMT terms, these are signs of directional exploration: price moved quickly enough that several prices received only one time bracket. They mark thin structure that can be tested during later rotations, but a return to any particular single print is not assured.

Price made successive highs while pullbacks remained limited. The developing VPOC migrated higher and stood at 7835.75 in the supplied chart. That number identifies the current session's highest-volume price; it does not, on its own, establish a stable fair-value area. The elongated TPO and single prints indicate that the auction was still exploring higher prices. The higher-timeframe profile supports the broader upward context, while Monday's opening gap and RTH extension provided the immediate directional evidence.

The advance passed the prior weekly review's upper decision region and entered the next higher composite distribution. Range extension carried the auction through the 7790 composite HVN and above the initial-balance high. Counter-rotations did not establish lower acceptance, leaving marked single-print references at 7793.75, 7800.25, 7811.75, and 7818.50. The composite low-volume boundary near 7780 separates this distribution from the one beneath it. The upper shoulder near 7871 is relatively thin on the supplied composite profile. These are structural references, not evidence of participant intent or a forecast that price must travel between them.

Upside: assess acceptance above the drive

The 7862.00 August 17 RTH nVPOC is the next clearly marked overhead reference in the higher-timeframe chart. If buyers sustain trade above Monday's upper extreme, that nVPOC becomes the first objective to assess. Beyond it, the thinner composite shoulder around 7871 defines the next area where continuation or rejection would matter. This is a conditional path; the supplied screenshots do not establish acceptance at either level.

The developing 7835.75 VPOC is the nearest reference for whether the upper auction continues to hold. A pullback that rejects lower prices and returns above that center would be consistent with continued initiative. A failure to extend followed by sustained trade below it would signal that the market is beginning to revisit Monday's thin trend structure.

Downside: distinguish repair from reversal

Below the developing VPOC, the first visible single-print references are 7818.50 and 7811.75, followed by 7800.25 and 7793.75. These are reasonable areas to watch for a response during a counter-rotation. Trading through one of them repairs part of the thin TPO structure; it does not by itself reverse the higher-timeframe auction.

If sellers gain acceptance through those levels, the 7790 composite HVN is the next larger volume concentration. The 7780 composite LVN beneath it is the boundary between distributions. A deeper move through that boundary would shift focus toward the opening-gap structure and the still-open 7736.75 September 11 RTH nVPOC. The gap and nVPOC remain references for future trade, not guaranteed fill targets.

Auction condition

This is a developing chart snapshot, not a final session settlement. The supplied TPO labels daily and weekly balance as developing and monthly status as insufficient data/developing. Monday's RTH auction nonetheless has a clear local character: a gap above Friday, an initiative advance, limited pullbacks, upward VPOC migration and single prints left beneath the upper distribution. The key question from here is whether the market sustains trade above the developing value center and reaches 7862.00, or rotates back through the thin structure toward the 7790 high-volume area.
