Thursday spent most of the regular-hours session rotating around the 7755 composite high-volume node before post-cash-close liquidation broke the balance and relocated control to 7709.50.
Overnight trade balanced around the higher-time-frame VPOC cluster
Wednesday’s late selloff returned the auction to the 7754.00–7758.00 multi-time-frame VPOC cluster, where the 5-, 10-, 20-day, weekly and monthly references converge around a major composite high-volume node. ETH treated that cluster as fair value and produced broad rotations between 7740.00 and 7773.75.
RTH confirmed rotational acceptance through value
RTH opened at 7747.50 and followed the overnight condition. Price repeatedly traversed value and established temporary acceptance on both sides of the 7755 composite HVN. This was a two-sided auction built around overlapping value, not a directional environment.
The upside rotation reached 7767.25 but failed to test Wednesday’s still-open 7772.50 nVPOC. Without acceptance above the upper distribution, price mean-reverted through the center and continued toward the opposite edge.
Prior poor structure was repaired
Thursday’s rotations traded through Tuesday’s 7745.25 and 7750.00 single prints, repairing that prior poor structure. The repair reinforces the broader message of the session: overlapping value and repeated traversal favored responsive, context-driven trade over directional conviction.
Post-cash-close liquidation broke the balance
After the 1:00 p.m. PT cash close, aggressive liquidation developed during the final hour of the CME day session. Price broke through the 7725.00–7721.00 composite low-volume corridor, checked the next distribution’s 7712 high-volume area and printed the session low at 7709.50 into the 2:00 p.m. PT futures-session close.
The late decline created a new 7725.00 single print and relocated active structure to 7709.50, where Thursday’s Siege Control Line and potential LBAF align. Wednesday’s 7750.25 stacked control was traversed throughout the balanced session and ultimately lost once liquidation gained acceptance below it.
OTF status: Daily balance confirmed. Weekly and monthly balance remain developing.
The decision area
7709.50–7725.00 — new Siege Control / potential LBAF through the late-session single print.
Acceptance above
Holding 7709.50–7712.00 and repairing the 7725.00 single print would return the auction through Thursday’s lower distribution toward the 7754.00–7758.00 VPOC cluster and composite HVN. Acceptance above 7758.00 reopens Thursday’s 7767.25 high, followed by the still-open 7772.50 October 28 nVPOC.
If not: Failure to repair 7725.00, or rejection from the 7754.00–7758.00 cluster, keeps the auction in Thursday’s lower distribution and returns focus to 7709.50–7712.00.
Acceptance below
Acceptance below the new 7709.50 Siege Control / potential LBAF confirms continuation away from Thursday’s balance and opens 7690.00, where a microcomposite HVN aligns with a broader composite HVN. Sustained trade below 7690.00 exposes the 7675.00–7677.00 low-volume corridor and naked Siege Control reference, followed by the still-open 7666.00 October 23 nVPOC.
If not: Rejection below 7709.50 and recovery through 7725.00 favors rotation back toward the 7754.00–7758.00 value cluster.
Auction condition
Thursday’s regular-hours auction was balanced; the final-hour liquidation was not. Friday’s first question is whether 7709.50–7712.00 can attract responsive buyers or whether acceptance below new control begins migration into the lower composite.
