Daily Contextual Analysis & Plan | September 25, 2026
Friday rejected the 7755 composite HVN, rebuilt value through stacked VPOCs and auctioned the full upper distribution before closing near 7803.75.
Friday’s auction began with higher overnight value and finished with confirmed daily balance after buyers defended the week’s most active composite high-volume node. ETH traded through the prior day’s high and briefly swept 7800 while the overnight VPOC migrated steadily upward. That migration showed developing acceptance at higher prices, but the early advance still required RTH confirmation.
ETH advanced, but the first RTH probes above the LAAF failed
The overnight auction carried through Thursday’s upper structure before early sellers returned price inside the prior range. The rising overnight VPOC remained a useful RTH reference because it marked where overnight trade had most recently concentrated, rather than merely where price had passed.
RTH tested above Thursday’s potential LAAF twice and reacted lower on both attempts. Sellers then moved through the opening swing low and forced the auction back across the low-volume corridor. This was the first meaningful test of whether Thursday’s higher acceptance could survive a deeper rotation.
The 7755 composite HVN became the session’s structural pivot
The decline reached 7755, where Thursday’s smaller lower distribution HVN aligned with the composite HVN that has repeatedly organized trade throughout the week. That confluence made 7755 more than an isolated intraday price. It represented established multi-session acceptance and the center of the lower composite distribution.
Sellers achieved the price check but failed to build acceptance beneath it. Responsive buyers entered at the composite HVN, the session stopped extending lower, and subsequent rotations began producing higher lows. The failure to continue below 7755 converted the downside test into a rejection and established the foundation for the afternoon recovery.
Buyers rebuilt value before initiating the next leg
The recovery was not a single uninterrupted squeeze. Buyers gradually reclaimed the stacked Weekly, 10-day and 5-day VPOCs at 7771.50, then returned to test that volume before advancing again. Holding the retest showed that the market was beginning to accept trade above the lower distribution rather than only responding away from its low.
Once the 7771.50 cluster held, buyers traversed the low-volume area separating the two composite distributions and reclaimed the now-confirmed prior LAAF near 7781. Moving through that low-volume seam with sustained trade reopened the upper distribution and allowed the auction to travel efficiently toward its northern edge.
The upper distribution accepted trade before the late extension
Price auctioned through the full length of the upper composite distribution and reached its northern LVN. The session did not immediately reject from the high. Instead, it developed a distinct upper RTH distribution, showing that the advance had produced meaningful two-sided trade at higher prices.
Late sellers attempted to rotate through the southern LVN of that upper distribution but could not gain acceptance below it. Aggressive selling was absorbed, and the failure to continue lower produced an initiative extension into 7813–7814.25. Price then mean-reverted toward the 7803.75 session VPOC into the close. That finish preserves higher acceptance while distinguishing the closing rotation from continued upside price discovery.
Upside: acceptance above 7813–7814.25
The developing upper decision area is 7813–7814.25, where the potential LAAF aligns with the prior VAH and high, the afternoon high, and the two-day balance high. Buyers must establish time and volume above this zone to confirm that Friday’s late extension was accepted rather than only a terminal probe.
Acceptance above 7814.25 places the 7826.25 three-day balance high in focus. Continued trade above 7826.25 would expose the open September 22 nVPOC at 7832.00 and return the auction to the next higher composite region. A probe above 7814.25 that cannot hold would favor rotation back through the upper distribution toward 7803.75.
Downside: failure of the upper distribution
The nearest downside structure begins at 7793.75 and extends through the upper distribution seam near 7780.50. Acceptance beneath that area would weaken Friday’s upper distribution and place the stacked Weekly, 10-day and 5-day VPOCs at 7771.50 back in play.
Failure to hold 7771.50 would reopen the lower distribution at 7759.50–7752.75, including the 7755 composite HVN that launched Friday’s recovery. Sustained trade below 7749.50–7748.50 would materially weaken the responsive support thesis and expose the broader multi-day balance boundary near 7725.25.
Auction condition
Daily balance is now confirmed, while Weekly and Monthly balance remain developing. Friday’s auction demonstrated that 7755 still attracts responsive demand and that buyers can rebuild acceptance through the stacked VPOCs and into the upper distribution. The next auction must determine whether 7813–7814.25 becomes a confirmed upper excess boundary or whether acceptance above it expands balance toward 7826.25 and 7832.00.
